Sales Management

Sales Manager: Sales Managers are responsible for profitability in the new and/or used vehicle departments and for customer retention. To achieve this, they must effectively manage sales personnel, have a strong knowledge of the market, and an in-depth understanding of all sales departments' financial data as well as strong customer relations skills. A Boucher Sales Manager is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards in every aspect of the job.

Duties:
1.      Hiring and managing consultants, conduct daily sales meetings and sales training.
2.      Overseeing standards for the facility and new and/or used vehicles
3.      Planning and executing community and partner business promotions.
4.      Managing the supply, inventory and marketability of new and/or used vehicles.
5.      Reviewing forecasts and profits for your department with the General Manager.
6.      Working with the General Manager on advertising plans, sales promotions, staffing needs, lease promotions and compensation plans.
7.      Appraising vehicles.
8.      Overseeing the productivity and growth of the Internet Sales Team.
9.      Attending to customer complaints and driving a high level of customer satisfaction.
10.Issuing demonstration vehicles and ensuring that dealership records are maintained.
Requirements:
1.      We prefer sales managers have at least a year in a dealership sales environment, but retail experience in any sales industry merits consideration.
2.      Sales managers need to be comfortable managing people. Management personnel require strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors, as they represent the dealership.
3.      Managers are required to maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
4.      Managers are required to not only understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations, but must also comply with these regulations.
5.      A valid state sales license is required.
Education: High school diploma or the equivalent is required and a college degree is preferred. A strong background in business, mathematics and computers is also useful.
Salary Range: The average annual earnings of sales managers range from $43,000 to $119,000. Earnings vary depending on experience and the dealership. We pay periodic bonuses and have special incentive programs for exceeding sales quotas.

Sales Consultants

Sales Consultant:  Do you enjoy being recognized for reaching new levels and be rewarded for doing so? Boucher Automotive offers an exciting opportunity for you as a Sales Consultant on our team. Our Sales Consultants work one on one with our guests to take care of their automotive needs. Consultants listen carefully to guests and find them the right vehicle, at a price that fits their budget, and do it in a timely and professional manner. Consultants provide guest service throughout the entire sales process including vehicle delivery. Sales Consultants follow up with guests and their family post delivery to continue to build that relationship and create a customer forever. In addition, Boucher offers one week of paid TARGET Sales Training for all new consultants. Future management opportunities exist within the 18 dealerships of the Boucher Group. Our top consultants earn over $100,000 annually.

 

 

 

OFFICE & CLERICAL

 

 
Receptionist: Receptionist is generally the first contact with the guest and is responsible for receiving guests at the dealership, determining the nature of their business, and directing them to their destination. Responsible for intercepting and routing incoming calls, taking thorough messages, providing basic information, and answering guest questions. Duties include inputting data into the Customer Relations Management Tool, providing excellent guest service and some filing and clerical work. Typical work schedule for this position will be 8:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday and an option for Saturday hours. ( I would say that hours vary for this position and can be adapted to a flexible schedule.)

 

Administrative Assistant: Responsibilities include performing general clerical and office support functions with our accounting professionals. Attention to detail, the ability to effectively multi-task, and previous general accounting experience are required. 

Service, Parts and Body Shop

 
Service Manager: Runs an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, guest retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records. Ensures that the daily inventory of technician's time is consistently sold to service guests. Duties also include: writing guest orders, processing warranty claims, answering guest phone inquiries, and scheduling appointments. Automotive experience is preferred.
 
 
Body Shop Manager: Responsible for overseeing the department and directing the activities of the team members to maintain quality standards, to strive to increase the volume of work, gross profit, and to maintain guest satisfaction by accurately estimating body repairs, establishing credibility and rapport with guests, and ensuring vehicles are repaired correctly.  Directs activities of body shop team members in performing body repairs, including meeting time schedules and productivity levels, and maintaining quality standards.

Parts Manager: Responsible for running a profitable and efficient parts department through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staffing, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising.
Service Technician: We are looking for team players, preferably with ASE certifications and/or college automotive repair education.  Previous experience is preferred.
 
Detail Technician: Contributes to guest satisfaction by washing and cleaning guests' vehicles after the completion of any service repair.  Assists sales associates in preparing new and used vehicles to exceed the guest's expectations and meet the dealership's standards before being delivered or shown to a guest. It's the details that make Boucher stand apart from the rest. A valid driver’s license is required.

Other Managerial 

General Manager: Assumes responsibility for all teammates in the dealership.  Leads everyone towards accomplishing the common goal of becoming the best automotive company to work for in their marketplace.  As well, they lead the dealership management team in building a successful and profitable business plan.

Office Manager: Oversees and manages the efficient operation of the accounting office and provides timely and accurate reports on all accounting aspects of daily business activities, including sales, cost of sale, payables and receivables, and payroll. Contributes to the overall operations of the dealership by providing assistance and information to other managers as necessary.

Finance and Insurance Manager: Provides support, motivation, and information to the sales consultants and works with the guest to help arrange financing and to finalize purchases.  Presents extended service plans and other aftermarket products during the completion of the sales transaction. This career opportunity will require you to deal with all levels of sales and management. Additionally, you would be responsible for cultivating and maintaining lender relationships with both local and national banks. We would require certification and a clear understanding of the laws and regulations concerning vehicle financing.
